First grade is an important step in your child’s learning journey, when early literacy and math skills begin to take shape in more meaningful ways. At Virtual Prep Academy of Washington, our tuition-free, accredited online first grade program helps children build confidence, independence, and curiosity in a safe, flexible setting: the comfort of home.

Online First Grade Overview
For many families in Washington, traditional classrooms aren’t always the best fit. Online elementary schools can provide a personalized alternative that offers more flexibility, a safer learning environment, or a pace that better matches your child’s needs. As your child grows, they can continue seamlessly into Washington online middle school and online high school.
At Virtual Prep Academy of Washington, certified teachers lead live lessons while families serve as Learning Coaches, guiding students and offering encouragement at home. Together, we create a supportive foundation for long-term academic success.
